Last weekend I installed my new Comptech CAI. Took me about 2 hours. After re-routing some cables underneath the airbox and clearing the CF lid with the dremel everything fit together nicely. Except the tube that goes into the box. It does not sit flush on the outside of the box and the hole it goes through is about half an inch bigger than the outer diameter of the tube. During a test drive I noticed a droning under acceleration
Did anyone else have this problem ?

Any suggestions how to solve this issue ?

Yes they drone, because there is no intake silencer. like the stock air box has. that is the tradeoff for a little more performance. I have the same one on my car, and they do need a tweeking to fit right. comptech is a good product. so if you still have problems give them a call. drive safe.
