Comptech Flywheel Resurface

I just ordered a Comptech flywheel. Does it need to be resurfaced (presurfaced?) before first use?

I figured the answer was obvious, but one of my nervous friends (yeah, you know who you are) brought up the question and I wanted to make sure i have all of my ducks in a row
