Default Comptech Free-flow CATALYTIC

Anyone know if the Comptech free-flow catalytic will set off the Check Engine light? Does anyone on the board have it?

On the Comptech web site the text description for the test pipe (not the high flow cat) says "May cause a Check Engine Light."...so lack of that text in the description of the high flow cat would lead me to assume that it would not set off the check engine light. It's not always good to assume, so you should just call Comptech.

one other thing to add - a hi flow cat will probably see very little in gains, even if there is a horse to squeeze out of that pipe. the stock cat is pretty straight through.

I have the Comptech Hi-Flow CAT, the check engine light does not come on. So far . As far gains, I do not feel any at all.

I installed the comptech cat at the same time that I installed new 440 cfm injectors. After a day or so check engine light went on. I did feel a big difference, however, I also have sc, header and exhaust. I own a shop so hooked up scanner to read codes. Code was for too rich a fuel mixture, probablly due to injectors. Cat alone should be ok.
