Default Comptech Headers installed and rattle gone.

Well i just got the comptech stainless steel headers installed and man they are really awesome. First off I really feel a power boost i mean, i feel a lot more power especially top end. THe car sounds much deeper and a hell of a lot louder. They also look really cool too. the Heat shield was removed and Utah S2k was right, The rattle noise coming from the engine area on decel from about 3.5k down was from the heatshield.

Anyway, i'm very impressed and i felt this header was a good purchase.

do you have a cat-back exhaust? because headers alone do not add to the volume of sound or sound note with the stock cat-back system.

yup, its a personal pet peeve for me too.

four cyl - HEADER - singular
V8 - two rows of four cyl's - HEADERS - plural because of two separate pieces.

and the install isn't that difficult. do some searches, I posted some tips and will probably add those to the new faq as well. give it some time, the ecu will adjust for the better or.... well, lets just hope for the better. =)

i got them for 850 including install. It's fairly easy they just had to lift and bring the car down multiple times to loosen the bolts in the enginebay and those under the car. I do have an HKS catback , but it is louder now than it was before. And YES it is HEADER not HEADERS, i just say headers all the time because so many other ricers have instilled that pronunciation in me.
