Default Comptech SC with AC seems running lean, A creative solution for Spain???

I am running a comptech SC with aftercooler at stock psi boost rest of the mods are on my sign, I have installed a wideband sensor (www.plxdevices.com) and at

ilde the AF reads 14.5 as average.

City driving (no more than 25% throttle) from 13 to 15, below 5000 rpm.

I am going to the dyno on tuesday to see how this boy is runnig at WOT.

Since nobody know how to use a Greddy or AEM and I do not want to be a ginea pig which other alternatives are? before the AEM and greddy appear there should be a way to deal with the AF ratio.

I was thinking in:

Running 440 CC injector with sotck ECU & use a SAFC to lean out a bit at low RPM

well guys is time to use your imagination.......

Regards

Juan

There is nothing wrong with your A/F. UNder closed loop conditions 14.7 A/F is normal.

Thanks but I have been told that at high rpm my car would be lean.

I went to the dyno here in spain an I was runnig 15.5 at high rpm (measeure were taken from one of the exhaust pipes)

I do not have at what rpm becasue they measure it in seconds

would the setting that i posted a good solution in case that I am a bit lean?

Seems OK Juan !

Don't forget that if you want to use bigger injectors, that you will need to manage your air/fuel ratio also, which can be done true AEM EMS or your SAFC or VAFC. The last two options are the cheapest ones !

Keep in mind that an original Honda gives already to much fuel. Expirience shows us that in some cases bigger injectors gives less results than expected. If you do not use one of the above manage systems with aftermarket injectors, i am almost sure that you still will have problems. The AEM EMS is not that simple as it should look, as you can see in some treads over here. It is far from Plug and Play and more expensive. A good Dyno and houres of testing can give very good results !

Keep in touch about your problem !

Im not 100% sure, but the catalytic converter leans out too. You should take the measure just before the catalytic converter, right?

You are right, today on the dyno I saw 15 and 16 reading on the whole rpm range!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So using a bit of creativity for Spain this is going to be my next move.

1- 550 cc and run stock preassure (FRP out) and Walboro 2- 90 psi fuel pump
3- With a SAFC II lean the mix
