Default Comptech SC and Fuel Pressure Gauge Install?

Hi,

i am planning to add a fuel pressure gauge to my car.

The car is equipped with a Comptech SC + Aftercooler.

Is their an easier way to install a fuel pressure sensor except drill and tapping it into the fuel rail?
I was thinking about a T-Adaptor between the fuel regulator and the comptech fuel line, is this possible?

I am happy for every answer, which can help me.

If I was going to install a gauge on mine, I would tap the end of the fuel rail and use a liquid filled gauge. Yoy could use a gauge adapter on the AN lines pretty easy with the Comptech FMU. It depends how much room you have around the FMU.

Hi SlowS2k,

thanks for the info

Do you think if it is also possible to add such a liquid filled gauge to rail fitting of the comptech fuel line?

Here is a pic:

BTW Can anyone tell me which gauge will fit on the Comptech Fuel Line (-6 Rail to FPR Fuel Line 30")?

Just found a pic from Speeeding (Command Flo install).

It seems that this adaptor should work, but where can i get such a thing. And is it also possible to fit an DEFI-Fuel Pressuro Sensor instad a liquid gauge on this adaptor???

Questions over questions..... hopefully someone can bring some light into the shadows

PS: This pic belongs to speeeding, i hope he has nothing against it, that i posted it on my thread.

Does the fuel rail end of the Comptech hose unthread from the banjo fitting? If it does you can use 6AN adapters to put a Gauge fitting inline. If the fuel rail end is one piece, you can make something up like speeding has done.

www.summitracing.com can get you just about any AN fitting and gauge adapter you need. Aeroquip, Earl's, Russell, and Summit all make adapters and fittings.

I just added one to the rail. Simple but does require removing the rail that takes about ten minutes. This method is probably the least leak prone.

Also requires trimming the plastic injector cover or as some have done, leave it off. The other cutout in the plastic is for the AEM FPR.
