comptech sc vtec question
hey u guys, I just bougth the comptech sc with the aftercooler and a toda exhaust mainfold...
And I wonder if the vtec is gone after installing the sc ??
I cant feel the vtec kick like i use to, or is it something that the esm box smoothes out to get the compressor working better with the vtec ??
/phosphor

You should still feel the transition to VTEC. Take the lid of the Comptech Box, you will hear the transition better. This is only for testing, be sure to re-install.
Things to look for:
ESM wiring, and voltage at the + - test holes in the ESM (should be 2.93 V)
Wirning at VTEC valve, as it may get moved around during install.
Significant leaks at VTEC valve (two VTEC screens are used, one on each side of the bracket, could have been dislodged while mounting)

Ok here's a question: If you add a VTEC light (such as the DIY on modifry's site) and the light turns on, does that mean you are truly in vtec or does it merely mean power was sent to the vtec solonoid?
