Concerns about installing an sc..
maybe they corrected the problem with the new kits? Is it the same FPR? My SC is about 2.5 years old.
When I'd punch it, the car would read lean (a/f around 17-18), then it'd overcompensate with fuel (a/f goes to 10.1/10.2 and sometimes but rarely into the 9's) and the car just boggs for a good second or two before it starts gaining power. We tried correcting it in the tuning (opening up the FPR and leaving the fuel in there) but it just wasn't meant to be. I went with an AEM FPR and no problems whatsoever. I hope that helps? If that's not really what you were asking, let me know. I'll try my best to explain it.

wow, thanks for the update! I've been giving people the "friendly warning" left and right on the forums. Great to know they're working their problems out. I just wish I didn't have to experience the 1st group of kits. I had the bad FPR and the old mounting plate that broke in 2 different places.
