Default Could someone help?

I purchased an '03 ecu used from a member but when I compared it to my '00 ecu, I noticed the stickers that had the part number were missing. There's one on the outside of the ecu and one when you open it on top of the plugs. At this point I have no way of determining if I have the newer ecu or the older one. Is there any way to determine this by just looking at the circuit board. Any help in this would be greatly appreciated. I just need help in determining that I did indeed get the ecu I paid for. Thanks.

Are you saying there's no sticker on the outside, nor on the inside? In that case, I would just return it 'cause it does not make sense to not have the stickers. The '00 and '01 ECU part number end's with digit "1", whereas that of '02 and '03 ECU ends with the digit "2", BTW.
