Default Controls for ac stuck, and wont change

This morning everything was fine.
It wasnt until i got offwork and tried to switch my controls from "convertiable mode" to upper.

Then vents didn't swap.

Any one have any issues with the A\C dial??

Do any of the settings on the dial work? If you decide you need a new ac control I have a silver one for sale.

I had a problem with my ac vent control not going into face, or face/feet position, the servo motor was defective. To test if its the servo motor, its under the driver side dash to the right of the steering column, try to switch it to a couple positions while looking at it, if its just getting stuck at the face/feet or face position then your servo is defective.

My vents are stuck on the convertible setting.
just center and feet.

After work i will check the servo while messing with the knob.

It's a longshot, but you could also try reseating or cleaning the connector on the back side of the heater controls. It's conceivable that there is corrosion on the terminals causing problems.

This DIY shows how to get back there - https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=601913

It's not that difficult, the only issue I ran into when doing it was getting the steering column trim apart.
