OK, this already sounds like the stupidest question ever asked on S2KI but . . . .
I have a cut in my top. It is about 8" (and no that isn't the usual guy's exaggeration of 8" either).
Does anyone know of a repair kit?
Eventually I will replace the top but I would really like to wait about 2 months. Oh yeah, the other good news is that I live in Hampton Roads and it will be raining here for the next 3 days and fall rainy season is just around the corner. Luckily the S is tucked away in the garage.
Thanks in advance for your help

You should have posted this in "Under the Hood". Off Topic has nothing to do with the S2000. Perhaps ask a moderator to move it for you.
I know of no repair kit that will fix a cut that long, but that doesn't mean there isn't one. Take it to a shop that deals with convertibles and get their professional opinion. For now, I guess there's always BLACK duct tape.

The helms manual has a section on the top where u use pieces of fabric and glue to mend tears. Theres a step by step, and recommendations of what to use I think, but that should hold u over for awhile.

THANXX TOminater. I will take a look. JCWhitney advertises a repair kit. Don't know how well it will work but if it holds for a while, I will be happy.
Anyone else have an idea.
BTW, no one has even asked about the hurricane here on the east coast?
We're ridin' the storm out.

There is some stuff called AQUA SEAL that I use to fix holes/cuts in the liners of our Water Massage beds which are made of Neoprine. Since our tops are Vinyl, you might be able to use it. It forms a waterproof seal and is pretty durable. I've been thinking about trying it out, but haven't had the guts. You can usually find it at big sporting goods stores that carry fishing or surfing supplies. I get mine at Big 5.
