Default Coolant leaking from weep hole

My water pump is starting to leak coolant from the weep hole. I replaced the water pump when I did the rebuild and it only has about 1200 miles on it. Its a Beck Arnley pump.
Should I be looking at another reason for the failure or just a crappy pump?

Crappy pump. If it's leaking from the weep hole, then the shaft seals are leaking-plain and simple. Only buy OEM water pumps from Honda. Lesson learned?

Longevity of the OEM Honda S2000 water pump has been phenomenal.

Less then 1% failures ever reported here. Many are over 150k miles.

Yes, lesson learned. Thanks guys. Guess I'm shopping for an OEM water pump today
Glad I caught it before other things happened
