RE-torque your head. This could be the problem. Should be done anyway.

the water pump pumps the water hence ---> water pump lol. just kidding. but seriously it pumps the coolant through the system and is belt driven i THINK.
anyway, if it where faulty i.e. leaking you would be loosing coolant. Usually you can find some "corrosion" on the pump housing if its leaking.
i would assume the water pump is fine, a leak would be noticeable/spottable.

at the same time, i don't see any leaks around the head gasket...?

if it was coming through the head gasket, wouldn't I be able to see marks?

if it was leaking into the cylinder, then I wouldn't be able to see anything correct?

How does coolant leak into the cylinder? through the head gasket?

Use a torque wrench and make sure the head bolts are tightened to spec.(don't over tighten).

i just talked to supertech (mechanic at honda dealership)

he said in 2 months time, even 1 months time, going from MAX to MIN is just water burning off.

he says a cylinder leak, or head gasket leak would leak much faster than MAX to MIN in 2 months.

his advice is to just top it off with more coolant/water and if it leaks at that rate, i'm fine.

OH...IF you can tell me the torque spec for the cylinder head bolts!!!! i will be utterly amazed.

the helm's manual says to torque it to 22 lb/ft, and then 1/4 turn....and another 1/4 turn.

if only you can tell me what that SPEC is!!!!!

I don't know what the spec is.

22 lb/ft, 1/4 turn, another 1/4 turn...

what is the spec in lb/ft?

you were probably talking about pulling the cylinder head off and reinstalling a new head gasket and re-torqing the bolts?

or did you mean to just tighten it MORE to spec? if this is the case, i have no idea what the spec is.

Pulling the head and installing another gasket is the last resort.
Due to expansion and contraction the correct torque at installation may have changed. Put a torque wrench back on the head bolts and make sure every one of them is at 22lbs as indicated in your Helms.

Since I don't know the context of your Helms, I'd assume that you arrive at 22lbs in quarter turn increments. This would not be 22lbs plus a quarter turn.
Tighten the bolts in a star pattern avoiding a possible warped head.
