Default Cooler Air Intake Question

Hey guys...I tried to do a search but I couldn't find too much, and some of the ones I did find didn't have pics or the pics didn't work. So anyway, I'm going to install a cooler air intake (most likely PRM but possible K&N..haven't figured that one out yet) and I was wondering where is this "fake" air inlet that you would cut away and where do you run the hose up to from this opening up to the intake? Sorry about the poor description, but I hope that any of you out there that did this knows what I'm talking about..instructions and/or pics would be much appeciated. Thanks a lot.

Look at the front of your car. On both sides below the lights there are 2 fake black air ducts. They are fake because they are sealed. These are cut to allow air either to the brakes or to an intake.

Do a search for CAI and AEM, you will find several threads with pictures of installations, hope this helps.
