CR Steering Rack- Scraping/Crunching Sound
Pilot sport a/s all around. I don't think it's the normal VSA activation since the lights don't blink. Also the sound it makes is a bit different. Ive made an appointment with evasive to diagnose this so ill keep this thread updated. I'm also running 6.2 caster, -1.5 f -2 r.
My funny steering shaft noise / sensations seemed to have now gone away. I have not heard or felt it on the last two drives.
A scraping sound could be the metal dust protectors on the front hubs, but I don't see how they would be affected by cornering. It might be worth checking the torque settings on the front suspension arms and inspecting the sway bar bushings and endlinks.

This is probably unrelated since you have the sound with both racks, but I noticed that the part number for the VSA computer is different for the CR vs the base model AP2. Perhaps the CR VSA is programmed differently than the base model. I have no experience with the rack swap, but you might want to contact Leester01. He put a CR rack in his 06.
