Default crank pulley removal

I'm in the process of swap my head, I noticed the reason why I blew my lastest head was because the last time it was swaped honda didn't align the chain correctly so I'm doing it myself this time. Does anybody know how I can remove the crank pulley without the "special tool"!!?? I noticed a hole should I stick a screw driver into it and wedge it?

I wouldn't do it without the special tool. Summit has the moroso one. The bolt is torqued to 181ft lbs so your screw driver will not be much of a match against it.

Mechanics shops have crank pulley removers. You can have them do it, borrow it or just buy your own.

Maybe you could just get a piece of steel rod and weld an appropriate sized nut on the end of it. That's what it looks like to me.

I ordered it from Honda............big bucks. Over $100, and that was with my vendor account. If you order it, remember there are two part numbers to get. One is for the handle and the other is for the head end.
