Question crashed car

so I was makng a left turn and my rear end kicked out on me, I tried to countersteer and it went the other way about 270 dagree's and I ended up on the side walk backwards, with all four tires on the side walk. I missed the clutch when I was spinning and the car stalled out. WHen I tried to start my car again, it wouldn't start for a few seconds why is this? also, all that appears happend is a dented rear left rim (poor ce28n's ) is there anything you guys recommened I do, or check to make sure my car is still safe?

Take your car to a good reputable alignment shop. Your car will have to be thoroughly inspected for bent or cracked suspension parts, and then aligned.

Sorry bout your misfortune. I guess it could have been a lot worse.

It's interesting how you word this. You seem to be blaming the car. If you have a dented rim, at the very least you need an alignment to see if you bent anything.

Sorry for your misfortune.

I have a question: were you making the left-turn from 0mph, or were you cruising at a speed? (if so, what speed?)

Are you saying your intention was not to kick the back out?

BTW, there's a system that cuts the fuel to the engine when you decelerate at over a certain rate suggesting you had an accident; but that has to be reset before it allows fuel back into the engine--probably not the case here.

Did you try to start the engine after stalling without turning the ignition all the way off and then on again?

I did the something similar in my RX-7 in the winter a few years ago. Don't sweat it.

Your car wouldn't start because you were in gear while either traveling backwards or coming to a complete stop (stopping the motor's revolutions). There was a thread on this a while back. Whenever you do this in the S2000 the car takes a little while to start back up. I can't remember why but it's not a problem. Don't read into it.

Just take the car to a shop and have them look over the suspension and align the car...after you replace that wheel! GL!
