My friends S was doing that due to an accident the car had before he bought it. He took it to Honda and they blamed it on aftermarket non OE steering rack and other suspension related parts that were used during the repair.

If you aren't the first owner its worht checking out (unless the problem just started). Maybe check the steering rack and bushings/Shocks/etc, for wear.

wouldn't carfax show an accident? the carfax was clean and it can't be suspension because i just installed a full coilover and it did it before and after the install.

just because a car has been in an accident, and it was reported to insurance, doesn't mean that it will make it to carfax. if a car was in an accident and it didn't go through insurance, then that accident won't ever be reported to carfax.

could also be the differential, give it a check the lsd may be worn or some other related problems too much back lash and all the other goodies. the power from the engine spins the gears in the diff we all know this, but if there is problem inside of it the amount of power can very from each rear wheel and under deceleration it can produce a similar feel. it is very noticable around turn on and off the accelerator. but there is a degree that is normal and that is not.

Make sure the rear tires are the same pressure, height, size and tread depth.
