OK. Here's the deal. I set the cruise and it works fine. After between 1-2 miles the cruise control quits and the light goes out. If I try to reset the cruise without touching the gas, nothing happens. If I hit the gas to maintain my speed and then hit the resume button, it works fine again for a couple of miles. I have an AP2 that I recently installed a trailer wiring harness on my car.. I don't know if the wiring for the rear brakes has anything to do with the cruise control or what. Any help would be helpful.

 

The cruise does work hand in hand with brake lights. Maybe you have a bad connection.
