Default Cruise control not working

So I haven't used my cruise control in quite some time. Today I pushed the cruise control engagement button, light is on on the button, but no "cruise control" light on dash.
I checked the #6 (15AMP) fuse under the dash, it was fine.

Does anyone have any ideas why it would behave like this???

BTW... I have a 2003 S2000 with 54,000 miles

Thanks in advance.

Check your clutch position switch, make sure the nylon plug is still there

I had a similar issue years ago. I kept pressing the cruise set button and it eventually took. Worth a shot.

Problem is that the cruise control never engages... No cruise control light on dash!
