Hi all, I recently purchased a js racing strut tower bar and it seems to be in the way of the the crusie control cable. I dont want to use cruise control if its going to mess things up and i was wondering if anyone knows of a fix or if it even matters.




As you can see the cable is bent around the bar. To clarify, I am just curious if this is a problem or not. Also I do a lot of work on offroad trucks and I make custom brackets for everything on my offroad rig and i was curious if it would throw things off it i made some brackets that would move the cruise control box over like say an inch or two? Thanks for looking. I appreciate any insight anyone can provide.

It shouldn't matter that cable has play in it anyway. Test it on an open road if you are really worried about it, but I wouldn't sweat it

 

i dont see why there should be a problem. the only way to really see is to test it.

 

PWJDM is making a bracket so that the cruise control wire does not touch the strut bar. they will be selling it with or without the strut bar. just wait for a while it should be out soon.

PasswordJdm strut bar is coming out soon. its in working progress. The cruise control bracket is somewhat done. so soon...

 

ah i see, ya, i never really use it anyway, i was thinking i might fab up a couple brackets for ti, but if there is one coming out soon I may just go with that. Thanks for the replies guys.
