Default Crush washers, etc.

I am looking at installing the Spoon thermostat and SS brake lines. As with nearly everything, both sets of instructions say to replace the washers with new ones...new ones never seem to be included.

How do you guys handle this? Do you have a toolbox full of various sized crush washers? Or can I get away with reusing the old ones?

not sure about the ss lines, shouldn't be any washers, but I haven't done mine yet.

the thermostat you need to get a new washer! the other one will be 'crap' when you take it out as most are, but this is just in previous experience with former cars. usually 99 cents at an autozone or the like, they might have something that works. just take in your thermo for diameter and make sure the bolt pattern fits.

chris? did yours need to be replaced?

As I recall the thermostat washer is rubber, was in perfect condition, and was reused.

I try never to take a chance on brakes so I always replace the crush washers.. two per fitting I think.

The thermostat gasket is Honda part no. 19305-PR7-A00 and as Chris said, it is rubber.

With all brake lines new crush washers will be with lines they go on caliper end one under bolt head and second one under fittings.
