This isn't really under the hood worthy, but anyways.. I went to Honda to order a cup holder lid(the top piece that moves on the cup holder). The parts guy said they only sell it as a one piece unit with the bottom piece that the lid attaches to. Can the lid be taken off without breaking anything and then can it be eventually replaced without breaking it? Thanks, Jeff

 

Has anyone take apart the middle console?

 

Iv'e pulled the center console before, The lid does not appear to be removeable. Given enough time you will be able to take it apart, But the parts guys is right, It's only available as an assembly.
