Default Cusco 4pt cage

Has anyone installed one of these yet? Mine just arrived today.

There is no written literature with the kit (I was just hoping for photos) And a bunch of plates and brackets and hardware

I am sure I can figure it out (but I am lazy), I was hoping someone had some photos or even a helpful step by step guide as many here have posted for other mods.

Thanks,

George

You are saying it doesn't come w/ backing plates?

Sounds like you'll be the one making the install doc

It should have come with instructions. Maybe they fell out of the box? Everyone else received them. George, you don't have an email listed so email me at s2000@bulletproofautomotive.com

Rylan, I think he means it only came with the cage, plates, brackets, and hardware.

My literature was in Japanese which didn't help but the pictures got me started - Have a second pair of hands for your install if you can and use some silicone on the backing plates before you tighten them down! I removed the rear tray and the console between the rear hoops to set and drill the rear legs. be patient!

Can this cage be taken in and out fairly easily for track days? What do they run?

Working on the doc right now.

The kit came with backing plates, here is a pic of all the parts.

And the bar bolted together, I am not sure what the single bracket is for? And the clearly marked hole on the passenger side of the bar?

I'm pretty sure that the "extra" bracket is for the spare tire mount. The bar makes the spare tire stick out about an inch, I just haven't taken the time to figure it out yet.

the hole is for rollbar inspection, to verify thickness and material of the tubing used.

I really wish Cusco had made those mounting and backing plates bigger, they really scare me.
