After a couple hours of thinking I finally came up with a way to install my catch can and keep my cruise control. The cruise control is the only reason I still have a drivers license so I really wanted to keep it. You can see in the pictures that I had to move the secondary fuse box back towards the firewall and mount the to custom aluminum peices using the old fuse bolt hole and an unused bolt hole near the upper shock mount. This may not be much to some people but I am pretty proud of it.

 

I cut the bracket that the held that crusie box and radiator overflow in half so I could still bolt the overflow half of the braket down with the Catch Can Installed. I also had to extend the wiring harness to make it reach the cruise control box.

 

This is detailed enough that I'm moving it to "Technical" and putting a link into the "FAQ's".

 

Very impressive. I understand the issue because I am presently trying to find a place for my catchcan. I'm in Aus and we don't get cruise control as standard, but I had to go and add it. And I can't relocate it to where you've got it because of the battery, AEM wideband controller and a fuse box I installed. Guess I have to get really creative.

 

I was strapped for room with the Vortech, so I ended up building one to fit next to the battery:




You may have to do the same Aus.

looks good man! i'm still deciding if i should put one in... i don't think it will help me much other than it being another shiny thing under the good. Good work though! If i install it... i'd probably do it exactly like you

I mounted mine on the side of the Comptech airbox. Now, for the million dollar question... why did only attach one hose? I thought we needed to have both attached...

 

There's batteries (well, battery), fuse boxes (mine and Honda's), wideband controllers and intake manifolds there. Plus, my catch can is a big square thing.

I'll work on it shortly and post my results.
