It's not going to work plumbed that way. The PCV valve has to have a fresh air supply to draw into the crankcase. If you want to Y both hoses from he valve cover, remove the innerds of the PCV valve, and do not hook up manifold vacuum to the catch can.

I think what Fred-S2000 meant to ask is if anyone had illustrated instructions on how to set this up.

Hmmmm, well, the written description is pretty detailed in this thread. I'm not so sure pictures will add much more. .................................................. ...

so im planning on getting an oil catch can to install but im confused with the explanation. do i hook up the catchcan to the second hose location and let the gases escape out of the catch can, or connect to the first hose(the one closer to the front license plate) and just plug up the hole on the intake and let the gases escape that way. please help xviper

There are several different ways to do this. Have a look in the FAQs stickied at the top of "Technical" in UTH. There you, will find a "How To" on installing a catch can.
