Default custom exhaust idea

Would this work???
My idea: keeping the stock exhust on the car except taking where it splits into 2 mufflers and only having one stock muffler on there then taking a exhaust cut out right after my Berk header and running another 2.5in pipe off the cutout and running it along side the stock exhaust back to the other exhaust opening on the bumper out the back? Would there be any power gain after a tune on my vafc2, being basicly straight piped all the way back? And would it run bad while closed do to tunning while it was open???

Thats a whole lot of work for no real gain. Leave the stock exhaust as it is and just put a turn down where the cut out is if you want the noise.

And this extra length of pipe is going to gain you what over just dumping the exhaust right away? Only redeeming quality is you might save weight cutting off one muffler and adding a cut out. Cut outs are for noise, not hp.

Nothing personal, but this sounds stupid. Just ditch the stock exhaust and buy a straight-through single exhaust. It'll sound better and look better than this.
