10 degrees F over ambient is pretty darn good especially considering that you have limited airflow on the dyno to keep the system cool. Throw a little ice in the reservoir and see what that gets you

I have found these PWR cores to be very effective like I said. I think that you won't see much temperature increase even if you go to more boost. I'm boosting 12psi on my Eaton and it puts out scorching temps of probably 250 F at redline. My system with the larger 4X10" PWR keeps temps within about 20 F of ambient.

Great results. Keep up the good work. I think we could pick up a bit more boost by getting the piping a little cleaner still and optimizing the flow to the cooler. That might bring temps down a bit too. If you have the ability to regulate fuel and timing (I don't know what kind of controls you have), you should be able to pick up significant HP now by advancing timing on the top end with your lower intake temps.

YS, one other thing I thought of was that you have the piping welded right to the intercooler. That probably hurts your temps a little because you are essentially increasing the area of the intercooler that is not cooled by the water. In other words, that long hot section of pipe has become part of the uncooled portion of the intercooler making the whole thing hotter as a result. Probably not much effect but maybe a little. Keep in mind these are not criticisms; I understand the choices you made with what you had and you did a nice job. I'm just thinking out loud in case I do go forward with a system.

It was 290 with 177 lb/ft of torque. My whole goal was to lower AITs so that I run more consistent with higher temps on the track. I think I have achieved that.

Steve-

I look forward to working with you on this and I agree, there are improvements to be made. At this point, I am quite happy with what I have but would certainly welcome any improvements that can be made through researching and refining the system.

The HP and TQ gains are about what could be expected with the lower temps but remember that YS is also at LESS BOOST than before and making more power. He can now safely turn the boost up with little effect on temperatures and make MUCH more power if he wants to and has the controls to do so.

Unfortunately I'm at a bit of a disadvantage not knowing what kind of boost limits you guys are looking at with whatever fuel and timing controls you run. I sure would like to see the results of 2psi more if that is a possibility

What type of controls do you have? What is the boost limit of the stock engine with stock injectors?

At the level of boost you are running, I suspect that you are correct; a computer wouldn't make significant gains to justify the price. What is the limit of boost on a stock engine without timing controls?
