CV joint not mating up with driver side half shaft
I'm installing a new diff and I can't get both output shafts to mate up with the cv joints . If I get the passenger side to match up, the driver's side is off...any ideas on what to do?

The CV joint does not exactly match up with the half shaft joint on the differential. The holes on the CV joint align with the holes on the outputshaft on the PASSENGER side but not on the DRIVER's side. I can get only one of the output shafts to align with the CV joint. Is that more clear?

I rotated the propeller shaft joint to try to align the holes. BTW, I've popped both of the ball-joints, and the driver's side shock is disconnected from the lower a-arm.
If I twist the driver's side axle very hard, I can almost get the holes to align, but I shouldn't have to do that right?

Put the tranny in neutral and release the ebrake. Both output shafts should rotate independently of each other. You don't have to turn the prop shaft. Just turn the output shaft you need lined up. If it doesn't move, then something inside your diff is seized.
