Default dash brake light stays on after brake fluid change

I bled and changed my S2000 brake fluids for the first time today just like I've been doing for the rest of my cars. Fresh brake fluid topped off, hand brake lowered. Everything seems to be working fine and brake seems normal from driving around. Dash brake light stays on... what could be wrong?? what else can I check?

I didn't touch anywhere near the ebrake cable so that shouldn't be it.

Check the float inside the brake reservoir... sometimes when you drain the fluid too low it tends to stick at the bottom, and the low fluid level sensor trips.

This is what happened to me in my old Toyota.

Stick your finger in the reservoir if you can... I am not sure if there is a guard of some sorts. You might be able to jostle it loose.
