Guys/Gals:

I started developing a weird problem a couple days ago. My brake light would come on, even though the parking brake is clearly not engaged. Then it would go away and then come back, kinda like a light bulb that flickers when the connection is loose.

Any idea what the heck this means?

Your brake fluid likely requires topping up a little. The lower fluid level also may indicate enough of your brake pads have worn down to justify taking a look at them.

 

Yep, low brake fluid. Probably not a leak, the level just goes down with pad wear. Lot's of times it comes on when you brake hard but that's because when you do the fliud goes to the front of the reservoir.
