Default Dash display

When I start my S2K, the dash display is always on a night setting that isn't too bright.

Is there a way to default it to the daytime bright setting? I looked through the manual and couldn't find anything.

Yes, you can make it brighter. There are two small buttons on the dash on the left hand side. They should be marked with a + or - sign. The rest should be intuitive.

As far as I'm aware, there is no way to make it default to the brightest setting. (the one you access by holding + for a few seconds).
I agree... this would be nice!

If I recall, you increase it to the whatever setting you want and then hold both buttons to set the default. Turn the light on, set it to the level you want at night, hold both buttons and it'll set the default for lights on condition.

I could be wrong.

I'll try that, thanks.
