Im having a misfire error code come up, coil packs changed and plugs, I am now wondering if it is the coil pack wiring as it only misfires underload, which if I remember back to the old rotary distributor you used to get the same effect with dmp poor spark plug leads - any ideas?

Which cyl is the code or is it the random one? If it is a specific cyl move that coil plug to another location and see if the misfire follows it. If it does then it is the coil pack. If not it is something else. It could be the injectors. Have you had the valves adjusted? Can't say I have heard of the wiring going bad for the coil packs. Possible I guess but usually the culprits of this are plugs, coil packs, valve adjustment, injectors or more serious a bent valve or something worn in the valve train.
