Did any body do this conversion yet. The 00 S did not come with a dead pedal that matched the stock pedals. The 02 and up came stock with them. I bought the 02 dead pedal. The pedal will not fit my 00. The tabs are different. The 02 has a square tab that you just push in to secure. I think I have to change the medal framing that the pedal bolts into. The framing is located under carpet of the drivers side kick panel. Does the 02,03 framing bolt up to the 00. IF any body has done this swap or knows anything, Let me know. Thanks

 

I have done this swap in my MY 00. You have to remove the stock pedal, then pull back the carpeting to get to the metal frame under the stock pedal. After that, you just unbolt the old frame, bolt in the new one (it uses the same bolt holes), put the carpet back and snap in the new pedal. It's cramped in there, with your head under the steering wheel, but it's doable. I think it took me about 20 minutes.

 

Just to clarify... You need the new pedal and the new frame that goes underneath the carpet. When I ordered from HandA, I got both the pedal and frame.
