Default Dead stops are a nightmare

So recently ive noticed that when driving my car from a dead stop. When i seem to let out the clutch and then hit the gas the car takes a lot longer than it used to. It almost feels as though something is holding on too the wheels and not letting my car go free. It take a second or two and if i seem to rev higher the car will just rev up and not go and i seem to have to wait the same exact amount of time. Any ideas guys?

Get on the highway at around 45mph and get in 3rd gear. Floor it. Does the speed increase with rpm? Might be a slipping clutch.

Has any work been recently done to the car before this happend.

Well i tried the test of letting out the clutch in third at a dead stop and seeing if it would stall. And it did instantly so i don't necessarily know if its the clutch slipping. it kind of makes a rattle noise though when i try to get it to go.

So i did that test. I floored it and the cars rpm's are going up normally. The speed increases with the rpm but i mean its not like its spiking or anything.

Jack it up and spin the tires. You may have one that is sticking.
