He didn't say, maybe I'll give them a call tomorrow. It just says Perform product update campaign: S2000 spark plugs on my invoice. All the service guy said was " Ok we changed the plugs and the gap" I then said "the gap?" and he said "yup" and I just left it at that. I was in a hurry to get out of there.

I think the "book" calls for the gap from 0.039 - 0.044. One of the owner's plugs that I checked after the recall was set at 0.041.

hmm, maybe my old ones were just out of whack. I've got 38,000 and never even checked them.

NGK's come pre-gapped. There are a few constants in this world. The sun rises in the east, sets in the west. Women are trouble. NGK's come pre-gapped and as long as they've not been dropped and the gap looks right, you hardly need to bother checking them!

No offense intended to any women reading this thread but you've got to admit, you're trouble...

I think it would be foolish to just assume that the gap is correct, whether they are supposed to be pre-gapped or not. The Denso Iridiums are not even close to the correct gap.

The tech that installed mine at Honda told me that he verified the gap before installing them.
