i have one in my car and everytime i change oil i see things sticking onto the drain plug and i get to get them out of my engine which will might cause bad things in long term when it builds up inside so i think it is worth it
actually i paid 54 bucks for it though

I thought the engine oil, differential and transmission drain plugs were all magnetic from the factory?

i did my oil change and diff change and the diff was only magnetic. not sure about the tranny

tranny is not magnetic. I think it's worth it.
