Default Did I "blow" my engine mount?

After some canyon carving last night, I woke up in the morning to notice that there is a leak under my engine. It is oily, clear oil, not like dirty engine oil. Upon closer inspection it is coming from the left moter mount that is under the exhaust manifold. Is our moter mounts "liquid" filled, like the differential mounts? Also, should I be alarmed by something like this? I really don't want to fix it if I really don't have to. Thanks!

I don't think there is any fluid in those mounts. The oil filter is very close to that area. Have you checked to see if it is loose? There may also be a brake line near there. Check your brake fluid reservoir to see if the level has dropped dramatically.
Are you sure it's oily substance and just water from your A/C condensor drain line?

I have a Injen CAI, so I can see the top of the mount clearly. There is indeed fluid coming from the mount (like cooking oil). It couldn't be my brakes because I have ATE SuperBlue. It also couldn't be my oil because it is quite dirty and due for an oil change. Would there be any reprecusions if I were to leave it alone? Damn . . .

It is quite possible it is liquid from the motor mount.

My rear differential mount leaked oil and had to be replaced early on. I had no clue that they used some type of oily substance in these mounts until this happened.

Sounds like you need a trip to the dealer.

u have to remove the engine subframe to do that, or lift the engine up from it a good bit which would require disconnecting a shitload of stuff. hope u got a lift
