I was jacking up the s2000 using the front center jack point and before I could throw stands under the car the jack slipped off the front of the beam. I know, I'm sure it was my fault. Anyway, the car didn't drop entirely, something was resting on the jack...but what was it? What's in front if that jack point? I'd look, except the jack no longer wants to bear any weight and I have no way of getting under the car to look at the moment.

 

This happened with my friends S2000 a few years ago. He bent the front crossmember under the radiator and bent the radiator enough for it to start leaking.

 

Well, I'm pretty sure none of that happened. Although, isn't the steering rack just in front of that jack point?
