Diff bracket not lining up with Diff on new subframe
Hey guys, I'm hoping the more experienced here can help me out. I have a 2004 NFR that needs a subframe replacement since I got in an accident. I bought a 2006 NFR subframe from someone on this site in order to swap it out.
While doing the swap I have run into a few issues...
1. (HIGHLIGHTED IN RED) The screw holes hold the aluminum cover/plate on top of the subframe seem to be different between the frames. The 2004 has all the holes level with and next to the subframe member. The 2006 subframe on the other hand has these tabs that protrude up. I'm wondering if these will get in the way when I try to mount the new subframe?
2. (HIGHLIGHTED IN GREEN) The is the major problem I'm having right now. The holes for mounting the diff onto "Differential Bracket A" do not seem to line up. Currently, the way the diff sits without being mounted to the "Bracket A", it seem straight and true. If I line it up with the bracket holes, the diff sits and an angle and will not mate up with the prop shaft properly.
Is this because I'm using 2004 diff brackets with 2004 diff mounts? Do I have to buy 2006 differential mounts and brackets for the diff to line up properly? I thought these mounts and brackets were identical across all AP2 S2k's.
Here is a comparison shot of both frames and the two problems.

Here you can see how the holes don't line up when the Diff. is true and straight. The diff has been mounted onto mounting Bracket B at the back and went on without any issues. The bracket A in front isn't off by much, but it's enough that just with the eye you can tell the diff wont be straight if i wrench the bracket on.

Hope someone can help me out!
