Diff fluid change issue

Yep, I'm just glad I at least tried to remove the fill bolt first, otherwise I'd be screwed. Now I'll just wait for the new bolt to come in, and try to find a 6pt 23mm wrench somewhere. Online it looks like everywhere only has 12pt though.

Northern Tool has the 23/24 and larger sizes.I get all my tools from them.

It seems twice now ive used the wrong tool to remove the fill bolt. The first time I used an adjustable wrench and the second time, after all the trouble of getting the car on level ground and on stands, I bailed because I wasn't going to use the stupid wrench again.....I put off the diff service for so long I forgot about the funny size wrench I never bought. Now with plans to put the car on stands next weekend I see this thread and it reminds me to buy the wrench today. Sorry for your trouble but thanks for reminding me.
