Default Diff fluid change using Amsoil Easy Pack

I just noticed Amsoil has a new “Easy Pack” containers for their differential oil. Has anyone tried using this to change the diff on their S2? I’m wondering if there’s enough room to comfortably squeeze the fluid into the diff.

If you attach a tube to the spout I think it'll work. I'm not sure if the spout it is small enough to make a turn into the filler hole but only one way to find out.

I don't see the old regular bottle for sale on the Amsoil site so I'm assuming it's been discontinued? If it was still sold, I'd go for the cheaper packaging if you already have the pump.

Edit: nvm, I see the option to change packaging. The regular bottle is $2.10 cheaper.

The regular bottle may be $2.10 cheaper but you can't play cornhole with them.

I've used it. Works great. There's enough room for it, so no worries there.

I don't think that will work, it might if it had a longer nozzle, it is hard to tell how long the nozzle is but my guess is that it won't fit, unless you can make an extended nozzle using some clear hose. Only two ways I could ever do it was with a pump, and with a funnel using a long hose from outside the driver side wheel well.

Recently tried this and found it won’t work directly. My pump would screw onto the package top and I just had to hold it carefully to pump the fluid without knocking off the pickup tube. A piece of appropriately sized tubing may work.

That's exactly how I did it, though. Just hold the nozzle in the diff and squeeze until you see oil come out. Once oil is dripping out, you're done. No need for any extra tubing, no need for a hand pump. Insert nozzle, squeeze until it comes out while making sure the nozzle stays in the fill hole, done. The bag is very flexible because it's not completely filled with oil, so you can move it around all different kinds of ways. The tip also can be cut down as much or as little as you need.

It works, just cut the tip of the plastic off and it'll fit into the diffl. Hold and squeeze till it comes out very easy.
