Thumbs up differences 2000-03 clutches?

I sat in my friends 2000 or 2001 s2k this weekend and could feel a considerable difference between how hard it was to compress his clutch peddle and how easy it was to compress mine. I was wondering if they changed the clutches from 2000-2001, and 2003? If not does this mean my clutch is on it's way out? My car launches fine, and i haven't felt any considerable slip.?

If your friend was to bleed his clutch, it'll be as light to operate as yours.

The only difference in 00-03 clutches is that at some point they went to a different setup to reduce noise.
