Default Differences between AP2V2 radiator and previous generations.

I tried installing a Mishimoto radiator and it did not go well. The water temp sensor did not fit and the fan shroud did not fit at all either.

The change in temperature sensors is not split between AP1 and AP2 models. Instead, I think the MY06+ temperature sensors are a bit smaller. You should have received an adapter with your Mishimoto radiator to fit the smaller sensor (mine came with one)

My AC compressor fan shroud (driver side) did not fit very well either. The alignment of the mount(s) were very poor. I carefully bent one of the mounts slightly, loosely lined up all the bolts, then tightened them down a little at a time.

Hmm interesting, mine did not come with an adaptor nor did the fan shroud match up at on the driver side. The holes were about half an inch off.

That's about how far mine were off as well. Since there are three (instead of four) bolts, I honestly couldn't tell you which mounting point was the cause of the problem. I just bent one of the top ones a little and kinda just averaged out the error.

Contact Mishimoto about a replacement for the missing sensor adapter. Posts from other owners have indicated that they're quite responsive to requests related to leaky radiator caps, warranty claims, etc.

Thanks, I called them and sent some pictures. They are going to call me back (soon) hopefully.
