hey everyone, i have a 2001 s2k and it has been an amazing car, the thing is that it has 53 thousand miles on it and it just started making a loud clicking noise inside the car, so i took it to the honda dealer and they said it was the rear diff, then i took it to another place that was recomended by an s2k club, and he thinks its the same thing but he has never heard of one going bad and cant figure out why it has...
so my question is has anyone else had this problem because if not then i can get a used one for 1500, if yes then i have to get a new one and thats 4 grand

used one for 1000 from hondas2001

Al alternate but more expensive possibility is using the diff from the 2004. Much stronger.

 

how much stronger is the 04 diff compared to the older ones?? has anyone blown a 04 diff?
