Default DIFFERENTIAL QUESTION

I HAVE A S2000 2001 AND MY DIFFERENTIAL IS BROKEN. I bought a differential which comes from a s2000 salvage 2002 AND WHEN i lift the back of my car and I TURN my WHEEL with my hand, THE BOTH wheels TURN IN THE SAME DIRECTION. BUT My OLD DIFFERENTIAL THE WHEELS TURN ON THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE DIFFERENTIAL IS MODIFIED?

What?! I know you're Canadian, but you can still form a proper sentence!

I think I know what you are asking, but I'm not 100% sure. So please restate your questions in the Queens english. You are a remote subject of the Queen, right? I'm sure they teach grammar in Canadian schools. At least the one that XViper went to.

are you saying...that before, if you turned the steering wheel right, the wheels turned left? that'd be pretty funny.

Well now, do you mean "What don't you understand?".

I think whats hes saying is that when he turns one rear wheel...the other rear wheel turns in the same directions...when its suppose to turn in the opposite directions. So he is wondering if the S2K has a LSD.

Yes a stock S2000 torsen LSD. It doesn't have a clutch pack style LSD. One wheel will rotate in the oposite direction as the other rear wheel, and it's normal.

It's possible your replacement unit has an aftermarket LSD.
