Has anyone experienced an issue with their dipstick (please, no jokes) popping up during hard driving? I've noticed at recent HPDE events, I often have to push the dipstick back into the tube. Probably nothing to worry about??

rotate it 180*.

 

New dipstick O-rings may help.

 

"I used the metric o-rings from advance auto parts labeled 64462.1; sized 6mmx10mmx2mm

Remember to get two of them, removal of the old ones is simple with the use of long nose pliers. Good luck."

I have that issue.
It just started for me. I changed my PCV to be on the safe side and I'll do my o rings next.

Thanks all! I'll stop by Advance Auto Parts and pick up some new rings.

 

Trick I learned from Wynn was to just fold up a business card and jam it between the valve cover and dip stick plastic. Mine doesn't pop out any longer:
