Parts list for removing/replacing valve cover
Hey all,
I want to remove my valve cover to have it powdercoated something other than crackle red.
I want to go to the Honda dealer to order the parts I need to replace upon reinstalling the cover, but I have no idea what they are.
Does anyone know?
Thanks for the help!

Just for good measure, I'd suggest having an extra valve cover gasket and 4 spark plug seals (boots).
When I swapped out my valve cover, I didn't have to replace the gasket, but did tear three of the four spark plug seals in attempting to take them out of the original valve cover.
The seals are like $2 a piece. Whatever you don't use keep in the Honda parts bag and you should be able to unload them either on the site or return them back to the dealer (as long as you don't have to pay a re-stocking fee).

The gasket kit includes the rubber and metal washers underneath the bolts holding the valve cover on, as well as a new gasket for between the valve cover and the head. The Helms manual reccomends replacing the washers when removing the valve cover.
