Default Disable VSA permanently - solved

You can permanently disable VSA but leave ABS functioning by simply unclipping the steering angle sensor from the clock spring. Not sure if this is a repost or not but I had a problem with my VSA system and the button was not allowing me to disable it. I've seen this post a few times With no answer

Yup, found this out by accident when my sensor went, still haven't fixed it. Had it for 2 years like this with no issues.

Does the VSA light come on still when the sensor is unplugged?

My stupid VSA still works even though I have no clockspring.

Can you please post a photo of what you disconnected?

This is on a track car...but I never use traction control even on DD's in inclement weather because it's infuriatingly stupid (IMO).

Sorry just seeing this. There is only one steering angle sensor harness on the column. This will defeat vsa but no matter the faults, but leave ABS function (06+ must have abs functioning for bias on track)
