DIY on intake manifold

Thumbs down DIY on intake manifold

please i really need instructions on how to do this. i went into the DIY section but the link to the instructions wasn't working. pleaseeee help me!!! thanks

P.S i also need instructions on how to switch my radiator hoses (they have a hole in them) since i just got samco ones and wanna switch them out. i heard you havta remove the intake mainfold for this also. please lemme know. thanks

I don't recommend doing it unless you have to do other stuff at the same time or have tons of time and frustration to burn.

thanks for the info, but i also havta switch out my radiator hoses and i heard u havta remove the intake manifold to do so. so i figured i might as well put in the hondata gasket while im at it. i'll keep yall posted how it goes. at least i'll appreciate it more if i do it myself.

Depends on your skill level, how small your hands are, and if you have all the right tools. Could take 4-6hrs or days.

Took me a whole day and I've done the same job several times before on other car's. If you don't have the right tools, I wouldn't even start the job. It's unlikely the manifold has to come off to do the hoses.

If you don't have a shop manual in some form, I wouldn't even touch the engine. You'll just F it up. Every bolt has a specific torque and if you don't tighten them right, you'll either snap bolts or the parts will work loose.

LOL, you guys are worry warts. Just do it and be prepared for some cut knuckles and raised tempers. I recommend beer.
